About Procovery Trainings and Facilitator Meetings

PROCOVERY TRAININGS: A series of full day introductory Procovery training conferences (Rethinking Mental Illness: Introduction to Procovery) have been completed by over a thousand Missouri staff, clients, family and community members primarily in the St Louis, Farmington, Southeast Missouri, and Kansas City regions, with over four hundred also completing the introductory full day training conference on facilitating Procovery Circles.  Click here for information about trainings, dates and locations in Missouri Jan-June 2008.

PROCOVERY CIRCLE FACILITATOR MEETINGS: See Calendar below, meetings will resume with a schedule to be posted soon here. The purpose of these meetings is for Missouri Procovery Circle Facilitators in the Missouri Recovery Through Procovery project to receive training, support, and materials, and to have an opportunity to meet with other facilitators, as well as sometimes with Procovery representatives, to share successes and challenges, support each other, and to define solutions and share ideas.

  • Monday, Feb 26 noon-2 Kansas City region Procovery Circle Facilitator meeting. The normal conference room at is occupied, so please note that this meeting will be at Conference Room 3 at the KC Hospital Hill Conference Room. Hospital Hill is 2301 Holmes, which is across Charlotte from the Felix Building, where we have met in the past. Click here to see how close this meeting is to our prior meeting site at 2211 Charlotte. The Hospital Hill Conference Room 3 is on the ground floor with access from the door by McDonald's. TMC will try to have some signs posted, that point the way, once people are in the building. TMC reports that parking will still be a challenge, so please try to arrive early! They have indicated that guests should be able to park in the visitor/patient lot between Charlotte and Holmes.

  • Wed Apr 25 noon-2 Kansas City region Procovery Circle facilitator meeting, TMC Behavioral Health, 2211 Charlotte, Kansas City, 5th Floor Conference Room (Note: this meeting is on the 5th floor, NOT the basement!) [Parking--TMC requests that people who attend park in the visitors and patients parking lot to the north of TMC the big hospital, and that there is a sign that says Visitor and Patient parking, and you enter the parking lot from Holmes.]
  • Monday, February 26th noon-2 Kansas City region Procovery Circle Facilitator meeting. The normal conference room at is occupied, so please note that this meeting will be at Conference Room 3 at the KC Hospital Hill Conference Room. Hospital Hill is 2301 Holmes, which is across Charlotte from the Felix Building, where we have met in the past. Click here to see how close this meeting is to our prior meeting site at 2211 Charlotte. The Hospital Hill Conference Room 3 is on the ground floor with access from the door by McDonald's. TMC will try to have some signs posted, that point the way, once people are in the building. TMC reports that parking will still be a challenge, so please try to arrive early! They have indicated that guests should be able to park in the visitor/patient lot between Charlotte and Holmes.

The event is preceded by a Procovery Circle Facilitator meeting at 11am.  Facilitators are welcome to bring folks to the party early so that they can attend the facilitator meeting, there will be food and plenty of space!
