Procovery Quote of the Week

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. – Margaret Mead

OUR MISSION:  The mission of the Procovery Institute LLC is to build hope, healing and LIFE through Procovery. The Procovery Institute was co-founded by Kathleen Crowley, the creator of Procovery, and her husband, Randy Stratt, and is the international purveyor of the Procovery Implementation Model™, providing organizations, systems and communities with Procovery implementation leadership—including assessment, consulting, training, community building, materials, technology, best practices, coaching and support for implementing Procovery with fidelity and cost-effective outcomes. Our focus is:

  • Ensuring a clear and specific Procovery Implementation Model with fidelity to Procovery Best Practices.

  • Creating a continuing exciting array of new Procovery materials, tools, and technologies.

ABOUT THE PROCOVERY PROGRAM:

The Procovery™ program, developed by Kathleen Crowley, author and Executive Director of the Procovery Institute, emphasizes a hope-centered, forward-focused, and skills-based partnership of the client, the family, the service provider, and the community. It includes eight principles for resilience in healing, 12 strategies for action, and a highly structured system, known as the Procovery Circle, for group training and support.

The goal of attending a Procovery Circle is to engage and inspire individuals to adopt skills and create change in their lives outside of the circle, and is highly complementary to and supportive of existing services. There is no requirement to attend a specific number of Circle meetings – if one circle meeting is enough, that’s great. People are getting help and support at Procovery Circle meetings on their own terms rather than because there is a fixed program requirement, which is both more cost-effective and therapeutically effective for an engagement program.

For licensing to be a Procovery Circle Facilitator etc., there are very specific program training and experience requirements enabling individuals (staff, clients, family, community) to progressively build expertise.
